We can help confirm the candidate’s certification status, the date of issuance, and any specific conditions or restrictions to ensure the candidate is permitted to practice in their respective field. Credential verification may also include confirming the candidate’s membership in professional associations relevant to their industry. We liaise directly with the institution for vetted, verified information.

All that’s needed is the candidate’s name and email or phone number to start the verification.
Candidates will be asked to supply credential details as part of their background check. We’ll get consent before we start!
The process for the candidate is simple. Here’s how it works:
- Press “Send” to initiate the request for background screening via an email to the candidate. This is done from our platform or your ATS.
- The candidate receives a link via email and inputs their information to complete the background check. This is all done online.
- While the verification is in progress, other background checks may be run at the same time.
That’s it! Once the informaiton is ready, we’ll update the status in your Certn dashboard.
Turnaround times depend on the responsiveness of the sources. However, Certn’s verifications team initiates the credential verification within one business day.
