FAQs

A professional reference check helps you gain additional insight about a candidate you may not learn from a resume or interview such as job performance and skills, work accomplishments, and personal characteristics. This is done by asking a series of questions either by email.

A professional reference check will show the questionnaire results in the report, available in your Certn dashboard.

All that’s needed is the candidate’s name and email to start the check. You can customize the questionnaire with the questions you require.

Candidates will be asked to supply reference details in their background check.

In a digital reference check, an automated email is sent to the provided reference to complete the questionnaire.

The responses are available in your Certn dashboard.

Turnaround times depend on the responsiveness of the references but Certn’s in-house Verifications team initiates the process within one business day.
